• Litecoin smashed through the first big resistance level at $279 before plummeting to an intraday low of $255.0 in the early afternoon.

• Litecoin stayed clear of the first major support level at $250, briefly breaking through the first major resistance level before reverting to sub-$279 levels.

• Litecoin was up 0.25 percent to $279.54 at the time of publishing. Litecoin rose from an early morning low of $278.75 to a high of $282.80, indicating a bullish start to the day.
