Like Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi flagship phones, the Nokia X20 will not come with a built-in charger.

 According to the product page for the smartphone, the Nokia X20 will not come with a wall charger. HMD Global, a Nokia licensee, launched the smartphone in Europe earlier this month, and it will go on sale next month. The Nokia X20's environmental impact has been reduced, according to the Finnish firm. Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi have previously stated that they would not ship wall chargers with their smartphones as they move toward more affordable, environmentally friendly packaging.

According to the Nokia X20 product page, the smartphone's retail package will not have a plastic wall charger, and the smartphone case in the box is "100% compostable."

A wall charger is also not listed in the list of in-box contents on the Nokia smartphone's specifications page. On April 8, HMD Global released the smartphone in Europe.

With the release of the iPhone 12 lineup, Apple became the first major company to avoid shipping wall adapters. Following Apple's lead, Samsung revealed that future models would not have included accessories such as a wall charger or earphones. The company claims that eventually eliminating the phone's attachments would help it become more profitable. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun also confirmed that the Mi 11 smartphone would not come with a charger in the package.
