 To celebrate the start of spring, Google Assistant is now offering new features. These features are said to assist users in resolving minor issues around the home. Users would be able to easily locate their smartphones at home and, among other items, order food in a few easy measures. In a recent blog post, the tech giant outlined some of the capabilities of its voice assistant. Here are a few of the cool features Google Assistant has to offer.

Locating your mobile device-

Users will be able to locate their smartphones at home thanks to a new Google feature. This command can be given to Google Nest smart speakers and smart displays. As users say "Hey Google, find my phone," a sound will be played on their smartphones to assist them in finding their devices. All devices, including iPhones, are compatible with the new feature. When searching for their smartphones using the feature, iPhone users who opt to receive updates and vital alerts from the Google Home app will receive a notification and hear a custom ringing sound even when the device is on silent mode and Do Not Disturb is activated.

Making a grocery order-

Users will be able to order food online in a few quick steps thanks to Google Assistant. For the time being, the functionality will be limited to restaurant chains in the United States. On the web, Duplex is set to power the function. Users will be able to order food from a limited number of restaurant chains, with Google stating that it plans to add more restaurants to the site in the future. Using smart home devices to build a sunrise/sunset routine-

Google has made a new sunrise or sunset routine feature available for smart home devices all over the world. The routines are based on the user's position and will allow them to choose preset time-bound behaviour for the activation or deactivation of smart devices, as well as their functionality. When the sun sets, for example, users would be able to get their lights switched on and their sprinklers activated automatically.
