The core specifications of the Oppo K9 5G have been revealed in an official listing ahead of its May 6 launch.

Oppo has announced that the K9 5G will be released on May 6 in China, and that it will feature a Snapdragon 768G SoC, a 64MP triple sensor, and 65W charging. Now that the K9 5G has been identified on Oppo's Chinese website, we know more about it.

The Oppo K9 5G will have a 6.43" Samsung OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. A sixth-generation fingerprint scanner will be embedded underneath the screen for biometric authentication, and a 32MP selfie camera will be housed in the punch hole in the upper-left corner.

On the back, a 64MP primary camera will be joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera, with the third camera most likely being a depth or macro unit.

A 4,300 mAh battery will power the entire kit, charging from zero to 100 percent in 35 minutes when charged with the 65W adapter included.

The Oppo K9 5G will be available in two colours and two memory configurations, according to JD.com: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The price of the K9 5G is undisclosed, but we'll find out more about it and its availability on Thursday.
