The MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor was just released. This is a 7nm chipset with 5G capabilities, 90Hz display support, and a maximum clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. Realme will be the first brand to sell a smartphone with the same processor, according to the chipset manufacturer.

While there are currently no information about the upcoming Realme phone, Sheth has confirmed that the MediaTek Dimensity 700-powered 5G phone will be released in India soon. Realme is rumoured to be preparing the launch of a Realme 8 5G smartphone in Thailand, with the same Dimensity 700 processor. Sheth has recently announced that Realme India is preparing to launch the 5G version of the Realme 8, and he has now teased the launch of a new phone with the same 7nm chip.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC has two ARM Cortex-A76 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz. Up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 2-lane storage are supported. When compared to an equivalent 8nm processor, the 7nm chipset is said to save up to 28% on fuel.
The chip supports full-HD+ displays with a refresh rate of 90Hz and includes an image signal processor (ISP) that can accommodate two 16MP or a 64MP sensor. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC runs at 950MHz and is combined with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It can encode up to 2K video at 30 frames per second.
